Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Strength Planner is built so your training data stays yours. The developer collects no data: there's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the app contains no third-party code that collects data.
What stays on your iPhone
Your workouts, programs, custom exercises, notes, body weights and settings are stored on your iPhone. The widgets and the Live Activity show them on your iPhone.
iCloud Backup (optional)
If you turn on iCloud Backup, a copy of your workouts, programs, custom exercises, notes, the body weights you log and your settings is stored in your private iCloud space. Only you can access it; the developer can't. Body weights read from Apple Health aren't included. Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud.
Apple Health (optional)
If you turn on Apple Health and allow access, Strength Planner:
- saves each finished workout (start time, duration and an estimate of active energy) and the body weights you log to Apple Health;
- reads your body weight from Apple Health, for example from a smart scale, to show it in your body-weight log and charts.
Data read from Apple Health stays on your iPhone. It isn't included in your iCloud Backup, isn't sent to the developer or anyone else, and is never used for advertising or marketing. You can change or withdraw access at any time in the Health app. Turning off Apple Health in Strength Planner stops syncing.
Notifications
Rest timer alerts are scheduled on your iPhone. No notification server is involved.
Exporting and contacting support
- Export Data creates CSV files only when you ask for them, and you choose where to share them.
- Contact Support opens an email draft with the app and iOS versions. Nothing is sent unless you send the email, and your address and message are used only to answer you.
Deleting your data
- Settings → Delete All Data removes your data from this iPhone and from your iCloud Backup.
- When you turn off iCloud Backup, you can delete the backup.
- Deleting the app deletes the data on this iPhone.
- Data already saved to Apple Health stays there; manage it in the Health app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here and in the app with a new date.
